GROSS ENCOUNTERS -
ONE NIGHT FRIGHT FESTIVAL
ONE NIGHT FRIGHT FESTIVAL
The third edition of Gross Encounters: One Night Fright Festival was hosted by artists Noam Toran and Reem Saleh, in collaboration with students from the Design Installation Master’s program at HEAD Geneva. This year’s theme, Holes, explored their potential as sites where patterns of domination can be reversed, structures of power can be overturned, counter-revolution and necropolitics coexist in tension.
The evening featured a diverse range of student installation works alongside artist Divine’s maquettes and short film Blood Sisters, a live performance titled Lame Pool by Oscar M. Damianki, a screening of Louise Siffert’s musical piece Gut Feelings, and a presentation of the video game ‘Body Bloom’ by SuperSash.
The scenography was designed and realised by the Design Installation students under the direction of Collectif Kimera.
