VITRINE NO.2 CYBER-CRUSH IN A WET SHOWCASE
EMMA CHATAIGNÉ

Emma Chataigné explores loving and desiring relationships with objects and technologies. She mobilises bodies, materials, and systems of language with the intention of shifting existing repertoires.
The seat is wet and warm and equipped with a height adjuster. @t sign coccyx lower part meet the gaps between the keys. My extra tongue slips under the cables and keeps telling itself that plastic is soft, flexible, and tasty.
The installation reveals, via a motorised surveillance camera, a metal seat and ceramics that simultaneously embody alien matter, a masturbatory object, and prosthetic technology.
The camera, typically used as a tool for monitoring existing beings⁰ in military or technocratic contexts, is here driven by an affectionate intention—not as an act of capture, but as an attempt at extension and connectedness.
⁰ humans, animals, aliens

The QR code provides access to the camera’s footage, which recorded the interior environment of the display window and images of mechanical interactions between humans and ceramics.

La Dent de Scie
Each quarter, Collectif Kimera invites an artist to take over La Dent de Scie, installed on the rooftop terrace of Espace Dukat. Addressed to the passers-by, this ever-evolving space offers a carte blanche for the creation of physical and three-dimensional installations.
