VITRINE NO.4 CLOSE PACKING
PAUL ROUSSEAU
PAUL ROUSSEAU
The installation brings together several inflatable figures within a deliberately confined space. Expanding simultaneously, they fill the entire volume, exerting pressure on one another.
The overall form emerges from this constraint: each body pushes, yields and deforms through contact with the others and with the surrounding walls. These objects, associated with play, movement and a certain lightness, thus find themselves immobilised in a situation of confinement.
The installation brings together two contradictory states: bodies striving to expand, yet collectively held within a space that never allows them to fully unfold.

La Dent de Scie
Each quarter, Collectif Kimera invites an artist to take over La Dent de Scie, installed on the rooftop terrace of Espace Dukat. Addressed to the passers-by, this ever-evolving space offers carte blanche for the creation of physical and three-dimensional installations.
